Fran tattoos at Stay Humble Tattoo Company in Baltimore, Maryland and frequently travels throughout the year to New York City to work.

Mixing traditional Japanese art, his own personal style, and influence from European, American and Japanese tattoo artists such as Horiyoshi II, Chris O’Donnell, Henning Jorgensen, and Chris Garver, Fran creates pieces that speak to the history of traditional Japanese art while using clean, modern tattoo applications.

Having spent countless years studying the art of traditional Japanese tattooing, Fran has gained a deep understanding of the style, tradition, lore, and rhythm that make up these timeless tattoos. Fran is committed to pushing his limits as an artist by providing an exceptional tattoo experience, and by having an encouraging and creative attitude toward collaborating on tattoo design.

Fran has been tattooing since 2007 at the age of 18. In 2014, Fran received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Towson University, where he studied illustration, painting, printmaking, and art history.
